New In | Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick - Bang £15 - Look Fantastic

I am one of very few beauty bloggers out there who does not own neither a Urban Decay Naked Palette or  Urban Decay Primer Potion, shocking I know, but I like to stick to Mac for they Eye Shadows and Nars for priming the lids; surprisingly there is no preference when it comes to lipsticks. Urban Decay recently relaunched their lipsticks, and colour matching lip-liners, with a bit of a revamp and I may just have a weakness for them.

Unfortunately for my bank balance there are twenty-two different shades to swoon over- the colour I opted for? Bang. A bright orangey red which has hint of neon and no similarity to any other lipstick I own. I like to swipe it on with a glowy base and bright eye for day (as I'm sporting in my viviannadoesmakeup-esque picture) or a subtle smokey eye for evenings.

I can't say I'm familiar with the old lipsticks they had to offer but I imagine the formula couldnt beat this. Its creamy, pigmented and hydrating. The lipsticks contain Jojoba, Avacado oils and Shea Butter which nourish the lips and makes it super comfortable to wear throughout the day with its buttery texture, not to mention its bold colour pay off. The gun metal packaging is original and sturdy, you know it can linger at the bottom of your bag without damaging; something I know about all too well.

I'm already eyeing up Streak; a shade quickly becoming popular amongst beauty bloggers, and the invisable lip-liner Ozone; why buy twenty-two when you can buy one? Urban Decay, your new formula, new packaging and delightful selection of shades have truly got me hooked.

Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks?
