My favourite delivery of the month arrived somewhat in
between browsing beauty blogs and making some lunch for my rumbling tummy, both
of these were thrown to the side so I could explore into my little box of
treats. A Glossybox day is always a good day, however with this months, an extremely
good Glossybox = an extremely happy me.
So let’s start with my favourite, Nip+Fab - Dry Skin Fix
Body Butter in Pistachio Sundae. I have been eyeing this up for endless months
now! Pistachio smelling anything will always lure me in, but not purchasing it may
have had something to do with the never-ending stash of body butters and
moisturizers in the corner of my room. I tested a small amount on my palm and
it is safe to say I am not disappointed with how soft the outcome was (as well
as still being able to smell the mouth-watering scent). Let’s just say I shall
defiantly be in a hurry to get my hands the 200ml tub.
To fill the cosmetic hole of the glossybox was Model Co –
Cheek + Lip Tint in Rosy Red. Although the colour is described as ‘rosy red’ I
would say the outcome is a light blackcurrant, you don’t want too much of this
on your cheeks! I dabbed a small amount into my lips and found it to be a
lighter colour than on the skin. The 10ml product received retails for £15 so I
defiantly got my moneys worth there.
Sunsense – Daily Face SPF …
I would say the least exciting of the bunch. At first I was unsure whether it
had some foundation coverage inside or if it was just sunscreen, I read to find
it to be the latter of the two. This would be perfect for anyone going on
holiday anytime soon (sadly not me) but I shall defiantly be trying this out
once I get some sun on my face.
Lastly something that made me squeal with excitement when
opening up my box, an Essie Nail Lacquer to add to my collection. I received the
colour ‘Nice is Nice’ which is, very nice. I have been meaning to get a light
purple/lavender colour so this brightened my day up a lot. It seems to be quite
sheer so a good 2-3 coat may be needed, but all in all a lovely pastel shade
to add for summer. You can’t go wrong with an Essie.
Did I mention how lovely the box designed by Pearl Lowe is? A vintage style
floral pattern in black, white and peach shall be the new home for my nail
varnishes. It all fits in very well with the theme ‘Spring Fever’ and has
defiantly sweetened up my month.
The box is a gorgeous design and the full size essie is a little gem
