Kevyn Aucoin Replaces Monthly Favourites

Kevyn Aucoin - The Celestial Powder £34 | Space NK

Here you have it, my monthly favourites in the form of one product; Kevyn Aucoin - The Celestial Powder. I noticed it was coming to the end of the July, when bloggers unite and post their favourites from the month just passed. However there hasn't been anything different that I've overly enjoyed using this month to show in a post- apart from this beautiful highlighter.

For a girl who had never ventured into the world of highlighters before the hefty price tag seemed a little dramatic, but that can all be justified by the fact that I have no need to search and pay out for another as this powder is faultless. The packaging is sleek and luxurious which seems too pretty to keep hidden away in my make-up bag. Although the brush wouldn't be missed if replaced with a larger dose of product.

Onto the highlighter itself, the colour in the pan is not overly shimmery; but a gorgeous champagne, apricot shade which transfers easily onto the skin to reveal a fine shimmer which reflects all flickers of light. The powder is extremely finely milled and is ultra soft and buttery to touch that a little goes a long way. To use this I dab a Real Techniques Contour Brush and sweep it lightly on the top of my cheekbones to leave a flawless glow for evenings and day-time.

Have you tried this highligher or any other products from Kevyn Aucoin? Hopefully next month I will have a regular monthly favourites for you all!

  2. When someone mentions Kevyn Aucoin one thing pops to mind: LUXURY, which is why I, barely managing on the student budget, haven't got any of the products, but oh my - would I not want to try them? Especially when you swatch the highlighter and it looks like this!
