Lets be honest, when the sun's out and you forget your sunglasses- walking around with squinted eyes is not a great look. If you're anything like me then a pair of sunnies will not last longer than two minutes (due to being thrown at the bottom of the bag). However, I do tend to admire the high-end, luxury sunglasses whenever the sun makes an appearance in hope that one day I will make the purchase and take precious care of them. My choice of sunglasses? Cat Eye... and I have picked out three pairs from different price ranges to suit all.

The first is a pair from Topshop, the budget buy of the trio (£16). What I like about these is that they look summery and fresh, if you pair these with any outfit they will brighten it up and still look chic. The arms of the glasses is metal so it makes them a little bit more sturdy than plastic, plus making the look that little bit more expensive. Perfect for festivals and laying by the pool.


Number two of the trio is an ultra-pretty pair from Whistles, named 'Audrey', no surprise that they are very similar to the style worn by Audrey Hepburn. I love the combination of the frame shape with the tortoise shell effect frames, creating a oldschool-glamour look. They're £45, so they won't break the bank but you're still getting a nice quality from Whistles.

Lastly, the famous Tom Ford signature cat eye sunglasses. Seen on many familiar celebrity faces these sunglasses are the bad-boys of the group! OTT at it's best, there is no mistaking what frames these are but I love the drama and glamour that they can bring to an outfit. The cost is around the £260 mark, but paired with a red lip in the sunshine they will look worth the money.
