A Whistable Adventure

Today I'm going to delve into the world of lifestyle blogging and post about a day exploring the wonderful place of Whistable. It wasn't a somewhere that I had previously been to, however my sister is familiar with the particular seaside spot- so we hit the road and arrived there to spend the day celebrating her birthday... a few days late.

Is there anything better than the fresh air you are greeted with by the sea? Although I wasn't so keen on the scent that the fishermen produced by the docks. After taking in a few deep breathes of the sea breeze we walked along the front with a late-morning chitchat until lunch-time and tucking into some yummy but naughty lunch; nothing beats seaside Fish and Chips.

A lot of the day was spent browsing the cute little shops Whistable had to offer in the main town, where I picked up an Oreo cupcake and some dainty silver hoops I had been on the search for. A pop-up style hut on the beach was selling wine, pimms and beer- we opted some for Rasberry Wheat Beer (tasted incredible, and I'm not a fan of beer!) and took it to another sea-view spot.

The evening made the whole experience a complete win, a lovely treat was sitting in one of the beach huts, having a BBQ and drinking wine 'til past sunset. Being so close to the sea was ultra calming, and the people were so sweet and friendly and the day was always going to end too soon.

I have also decided to include quite a few of the pictures I took throughout the day for you to have little snapshots of the day. I would of loved to stay longer in Whistable so I shall defiantly be going back sometime for exploring day 2! I hope you have enjoyed this post as it's a bit different for me, if you want to see more day-to-day pictures from me you can follow my Instagram- Oliviasneg.
