Monthly Favourites | August

My view on August? I've been slacking! I feel as though I haven't had the time to give it my all and blog posts keep moving back- however this months favourites is on time and September better watch out. With that little announcement said and done I can move onto the beauty side of things- hoorah! I've been loving a lot this month from old and new purchases... and a gool ol' magazine freebie too.

To kick things of is a new found love of mine, Perricone MD Photo Plasma Moisturiser* A pricey piece of skincare added to the stash which is now sure to be a staple for a while. An almost whipped texture, light pink colour and glowy finish-  an added SPF 30 too for good measure with the winning formula. Blog post pending.

A product that was very recently reviewed on Crave More Beauty; Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Bang a lipstick that has been gracing my lips frequently this month. I wont duplicate the past review but a bold colour, creamy texture and sleek packaging- what's not to love?

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation is a much beloved foundation in the blogging community and one that has now got me hooked. At first I didn't see all the fuss, but with my Estee Lauder being a bit too heavy for my skin these days I have turned to this. A medium coverage with a glowy finish, and it leaves my face "looking smooth"- quoted from the mother.

The freebie of the month, Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray all thanks to Ellle. I spritz this into my hair prior blow-drying with a bit of scalp massage action to get the product working and it leaves me with a good amount of volume boost which doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or greasy. I can see a purchase of this happening.

A skincare step that's really been making a difference is the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner which has dried up any blemishes starting to appear and smoothing out my face. I feel I maybe need to bring down the number of times I use this a week but it's certainly a toner that does what it says on the tin bottle.

That's the fabulous five favourites for this month picked out and I'm sure I shall continue to love them throughout September. I think a favourite for this month may be purely the sight of Autumn- I do love the colder months.

I have a post coming this week that is a bit different for me so look out for that, and maybe a few Lily Pebbles style WOMF posts! Have you been using any of my August favourites too or leave your links to your favourites and I'll be sure to have a snoop.
