Two Mac Newbies

Okay, so I'm sure that it won't be a surprise to anyone that's been reading my blog for a while that making Mac orders is becoming a bit of a habit for me- lets just blame for countless array of eyeshadows and lipstick Mac has to offer. One item that is not photographed is the recently purchased large Pro Palette to home the rest of the ever-growing collection and my the two newbies; Naked Lunch and Quarry.

Naked Lunch is a beautiful colour for all over the lid at any time of the day. In the pan it looks a lot creamier than it swatches (similar to Shroom by Mac) but once on the lid the pink undertones come through to create a rosey/champagne colour which adds a lovely touch for a natural makeup look.

Quarry is a colour that I've been wearing daily in the crease with Naked Lunch; it's a Matte finish so perfect for this. Quarry is a neutral brown with plum undertones which softens the colour making it easier to wear- the plum also makes a great suiting for hazel and green eyes.

Both of these colours together create a lovely day-time eye, finished with a good coating of mascara on the lashes! I shall now be on the hunt for a few brown eye-shadows so if you have any suggestions please let me know... or any other colours to pair with Naked Lunch or Quarry.
