Every product I have tried from Nars has been a success, so with that in mind I steered away from the highly popular Urban Decay Potion Primer and opted for the Nars Pro Prime Eye-shadow base instead. The packaging is more suited to my taste as well as there being no bad words in sight about it after reading numerous reviews... admit it, we all do it. 

The doe-foot application makes it quick and easy for those in a rush mornings, as well as drying on the lid in no time. The primer comes in a creamy consistency which is easy to control and applies precisely to avoid drowning your eyes. Once it has dried on the skin it leaves a light white tint (which I quite like), making you look more awake with a bright eye, and the benefit of seeing where it has been applied. Eye-shadow quickly covers the tint. 

Eyeshadow does not budge, literally smudge proof. It allows the colour from the shadow to pack on the lid and intensify (don't be afraid- you can still blend!). I don't have very oily eyelids but creasing still likes to proceed after a few hours- swipe a bit of this on before and any sight of creasing is vanished. If it wasn't so bad for the skin then you could probably get away with sleeping with it on and not having to re-apply the next day- #lazy.
