A Monthly Occurance With Mac

Since my first Mac eye shadow purchase I have not been able to stop searching all over Google for some new additions. Last month I brought Kid, Satin Taupe and Shroom (post here), and this month I welcomed two new shadows to the collection- Patina and Sumptuous Olive aswell as the Pro Palette Quad and a Mac 217 Brush.
Patina is a lot darker than I anticipated it to be, but still a gorgeous golden/bronze brown which blends beautifully with most of the other colours I have- it's a firm favourite eye shadow in the bloggers world so I won't go on about it too much. Sumptuous Olive comes out a lot darker when swatched than in the pan (bright green eyelids? No thank you), but it's the prettiest dark olive with a hint of gold running through it. I have blended it all over the lid today with Kid in the crease and the colour has made my hazel eyes pop!
The Pro Palette Quad and 217 brush are staples in any makeup addicts life, the 217 brush effortlessly blends beautifully and must be the softest eye brush I've ever felt! The quad looks so cute with four pretty eye shadows sitting in it... I'm now itching after the 15 palette. If you have any Mac eye shadow or brush suggestions let me know in the comments below, Thank you!

  10. Ooh I love that Sumptuous Olive color! I'm going to have to add that to my wishlist....I always think that shade looks great with brown eyes.
Shroom is one of my favorites!

I have Swiss Chocolate -- it's a beautiful brown with red undertones...perfect for the crease! If you like neutrals, it's a good one to get!
I've heard that Soft Brown is a staple. It's a similar neutral brown color!
