The Repurchase: Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

Note to self: always purchase a few weeks before running out. After being told that this was out of stock at multiple Clinique counters I decided the only option was to order it online- oh, if only. Luckily I received an email a couple of days later from Clinique to tell me it was back in stock, soon after that I finally I had my hands on it again and a sigh of relief may of taken place. Take that as a sign as to how good this cleanser is.

After working my way through my first pot with no bad reactions or breakouts, with the benefits of more hydration and a fresh feeling cleansed face with no tightness, there was really no other choice but to repurchase it. Ofcourse it was after reading a Caroline Hirons review, and suffering from sensative skin I decided to give it a go. In fact, I would find it hard to believe it aggravates any skin type with it being free of fragrance, mineral and esssential oils.

Every evening I look forward to getting a small amount of this and melting it into my skin to remove any makeup leftover from my first cleanse, and a relaxing facial massage to add some good ol' lymph drainage into my routine. It leaves your face feeling silky soft and prepped for the next step of your skincare. FYI it also makes a great morning cleanser which awakens the skin.

Although Clinique may not be top of the charts when it comes to skincare this product was a marvelous creation which is 100% a holy grail cleanser for me. There is nothing worse then coming to the end of a product and you can already hear your bank balance cry; fear not, you don't have to part with a fortune to repurchase this. What's your holy grail cleanser?

  2. I'd be so keen to try this as at times my skin can become irritated, anything that lessens the risk sounds like a good idea to me.
