Summer Skincare Staples

If there's a brand that does it skincare wise for me, it's L'Occitane. Probably not a brand you see everyday on your Bloglovin' feed - but for me they're always bringing out new and innovative products which get me excited for skincare.

With the weather warming up, my Winter regime was becoming too rich for my skin which has stopped battling with cold winds everyday. So, the hunt for a new day cream began...

and it just so happened that a beautiful serum was added in the mix too.

I know what you're all thinking - pink: for skincare packaging? You don't see that often, but it's to keep in line with their Pivoine body-care collection. It's pretty, fun and comes with the guarantee of knowing your other half won't be stealing any of it!

If you've heard of the Divine Cream then you will know it's L'Occitane award winning anti-aging moisturiser, whereas Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream is said to be for those with younger skin searching for hydration, perfecting of skin-tone and enhancing radiance. The texture is a dream: light and velvety which glides over your skin and sinks in effortlessly leaving a fresh, plump faced feeling.

Complexion wise, this has really helped calm a lot of redness and minimize blemish scarring. Half way through my pot and I can tell a massive difference with all aspects of this cream.

Ofcourse you can stop there and use the cream on its own, but I'm one for serums and love getting an extra layer of hydration into my skin. I believe using the Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Essence has increased the efficiency of the range which acts as a perfect base for makeup. Using the serum morning and night is meaning I'm slightly weeping at how quickly I'm getting through it, but there's no question of if I will repurchase... it's too heavenly.

It's so exciting to fall in love with a new skincare range and see a difference. Have you tried any L'Occitane skincare or is there other brands that are your go-to?
