The Start Of Spring Nails

Revlon Nail Enamel in Eclectic £6.49 | Boots

It may not yet be spring time, but with a few days of sun here there I cannot help myself being drawn to pretty pastels and S/S trends. Revlon are not a brand I usually rush to when picking out some new nail varnishes, but whilst taking advantage of the 3 for 2 offer (it would be rude not too), this particular colour attracted me and just screams summer.

Minty hued colours are not something that I have lusted over much in past, last summer my nails wore nothing else but orangey reds, but recently I have grown to love the colour; maybe a particular Topshop coat we all know may have something to do with it? I find Eclectic has some blue tones in there to stop it being a true minty green and steers it towards a beautiful colour which is easy to wear and pops some colour into any outfit.

One thing I do love about the Revlon Nail Enamels is the packaging; super simple and practical, with a long lid which is comfortable to hold when applying. The brush is not the thickest I've ever used so a few strokes is needed, but allows you to be precise and cover the whole nail with minimal colour left all over your fingers (you know the ones?). Three days on and no chipping has yet appeared, so far so good!

Revlon have impressed me with this one so I shall be stocking up with some more of these; the colour range is insaaaane! Let me know what colour suggestions from the range you have or which colours your nails will be wearing a lot of this spring/summer. I have officially jumped on the mint-green bandwagon.

  1. Ohmygosh I love this. Pastels are my guilty pleasure. It's absolutely freezing here today and I'm wearing a very springy lilac color.

    And I love 3 for 2 offers :)
